Healthy Spaces has provided installation services to our sauna customers since 2002. We are now on the second generation of installers and have learned much over the years to ensure your sauna is warmed up and ready to use when we leave your home or clinic. With Clearlight Infrared Saunas’ lifetime warranty, you can rest assured that once we leave you will have many years of trouble-free enjoyment of your sauna.
Once you have decided on the size and model of the sauna, Clearlight will communicate the electrical requirements necessary to support the use of your sauna. You are responsible for providing access to an appropriate power outlet. If your new sauna requires an outlet other than a traditional three-pronged grounded outlet, we will let you know and provide information so the appropriate outlet will be available at the time of installation.
You will receive shipping information regarding the delivery date and a tracking number for your sauna. We will then put you in touch directly with Andrew, our installation manager. Andrew is a professional construction manager with extensive experience in sauna assembly and installation. You will work out an installation appointment time with Andrew.
When your new sauna arrives, please inspect the shipping containers for any signs of possible damage and notify the driver of any concerns. If there are tears or serious dents in the external shipping containers take photos. Most damage to the exterior packing does not result in damage to the sauna but we will only know for certain when the packing material is removed. Please have the driver place your sauna in an area protected from the elements, preferably a garage, until our installers arrive. It is important that the driver sign off on your report of any damage.
Andrew will be accompanied by a second person. Please let Andrew know in advance if there are any challenges they need to be prepared for including; narrow steep stairways, uneven floor, or space into which the sauna will go that may be a very tight fit.
From start to finish, most installations require approximately 2-3 hours. The Sanctuary models with the heavy glass generally take more time than the Premier models with more wood. The cost of installation is $150 per hour. Andrew and his partner will carefully unpack the sauna piece by piece, move all components to the desired location, assemble and connect the sauna and test everything to ensure proper working conditions. They will also supply shimming materials to level the floor beneath the sauna if required. If desired, they can remove all packing supplies and debris, hauling it to the dump for an extra $50 (dump fee, drive time, and unloading material).
Installations are available within the Portland Metro area. Locations outside of the tri-county metro may be charged an additional trip fee to be agreed upon between installers and the customer. Checks should be made payable directly to the installer.
